Welcome to our log cabin. It is located in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains in an area called the "Isothermal Belt" at an approximate altitude of 1500 ft. The weather year round is excellent since it does not get too cold in the winter or too hot in the summer. On average winter temperatures are at a low of 30° F at night with highs between 60° - 70° F in the daytime with occasional snow showers. In the summer expect highs in the 80’s and cool 60° nights.

There are plenty of activities nearby such as: fishing, hiking, canoeing, horseback riding, skiing and sightseeing. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock are only a 20 minute drive away, The Blue Ridge Parkway is less than a 45 minute drive and the Smoky Mountains National Park is about 1.5 hour.

There is access to the Green River within walking distance right next to the playground and a natural creek runs the length of the entire property. Wild turkey, deer and other wildlife are seen almost daily strolling through the property.
